About Nick
Personal Life
I grew up in the small town of Litchfield, New Hampshire. In my free time I like to downhill ski, indoor and outdoor rock climb, lift weights, spend time with friends and family, edit and make funny videos for my friends, and sell/buy vintage clothing.
Schooling
I graduated with high honors from Campbell High School in 2023. I'm currently a Junior at the University of Vermont studying Computer Science, expected to graduate in May 2027. As of last fall I hold a 3.79 GPA. Recent Coursework includes Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Combinatorial Theory, Effective Speaking, and Intro to AI.
Relevant Experience
In March 2025 I participated in the Second Annual UVM Hackathon. I Worked in a group to build an inventory tracking system for Rally Cat’s Cupboard with features like low-stock alerts and a database backed system for tracking donated items and got 2nd place for our prompt.
This year I came back for the Third Annual UVM Hackathon. My team and I developed a full-stack loan tracking dashboard using FastAPI, SQL, and Jinja to assist students in managing debt through interest projections and goal-setting features. Integrated Kinde for secure user authentication and collaborated in a 4-person agile team to deliver a functional MVP within 48 hours.
Work Experience
My professional background is rooted in customer service — during high school and the summer of 2024 I worked as a member and leader at a Dunkin' restaurant. The role sharpened my communication skills with both coworkers and customers, built a strong work ethic, and taught me how to perform under pressure.
Last summer I worked at Spare Time Entertainment in Colchester VT as a Server & Bartender. I Provided excellent and friendly customer service to 100+ guests, ensuring a positive dining experience. I also Served drinks and managed bar operations while upholding restaurant culture.
